Comic Con: Avatar Game Trailer Will Debut On August 21st

At a panel for his upcoming film Avatar, James Cameron announced that August 21st will be Avatar Day. The fake-ass holiday will see the debut of Avatar: The Game's first trailer, among other things.

It's really a bigger event from a film standpoint. They'll be showing 15 minutes of the movie at IMAX theaters across the country. Us gamers, meanwhile, will be hunched over our computer screens while we wait for a minute-long trailer to buffer.

Still, Cameron has been insisting the game won't suck like most adaptations do so I'm interested to see the thing in action. Both the film and game are set to arrive in December.
