Candygun Games and Digital Reality's Dead Block has already made its way onto consoles, in fact it was available on consoles back during the summer of 2011. PC gamers who wanted to partake in the comical, zombie-defense game will be able to do so starting today.

If you thought the PS3 version was delayed badly with a week and a half delay over the Xbox 360 version back in July, PC gamers had to wait more than seven months to play the game. Yikes.

Digital Reality announced that Dead Block is currently available for PC via a number of different digital distributors. The game relies heavily on rock and roll themes fused with classic zombie killing devices while giving players tower defense scenarios to work through. Up to four players can also work together to use tactics and teamwork to overthrow the zombie horde.

Dead Block is reminiscent of the 1950s when rock ‘n roll was the devil’s music, causing an apocalyptic musical plague to turn the deceased into the rocking dead! Strategically secure your home base by finding the most creative way to kill zombies using a variety of upgradeable weapons, and even rock them to shreds with awesome guitar power! Players will fight against the zombie onslaught as one of three players— Boy Scout Mike Bacon, construction worker Jack Foster, and no-nonsense meter maid Foxy Jones— each with their own unique “Smart Bomb” attack.
