Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut Wii U Trailer Released
Square Enix and Eidos Montreal are re-releasing one of the greatest games ever made in the history of gaming (and no, that's not an exaggeration at all) for Nintendo's Wii U. To continue to celebrate the game's upcoming debut on the Wii U, Square Enix and Eidos released a new trailer for the Director's Cut of Human Revolution.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution was out a few years ago for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 and managed to rack up tons of awards and critical praise for not only being a really mature, unique take on the first-person genre but for also having a story that was both moving and thought-provoking. That's not to mention that the five minute trailer “Icarus” named after Michael McCann's theme song of the same name, is still regarded as the greatest game trailer ever by the gaming community.
The game itself is about a certain security officer, Adam Jensen, who gets involved with a worldwide conspiracy involving augmentation technology and the biotechnological revolution at hand amidst the rising protests of pro-humanist groups and fringe organizations aimed at halting progress. This all happens while other groups are keen on protecting and using unfiltered means of trying to achieve the pinnacle of technological human evolution. Deep stuff.
If you're a Wii U owner who didn't get a chance to play Deus Ex: Human Revolution yet (and shame on you for not doing so) or if you just want to support Eidos Montreal and pick up another copy of one of the most timeless interactive entertainment masterpieces ever designed, feel free to keep your eyes peeled on the game when the director's cut launches exclusively for Nintendo's latest console.
