Coming off the early success of the action-RPG The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, Neocore Games has announced that they're already hard at work on a sequel and players will be able to import their character from the first game to play in the second game.
Viktor Juhász, narrative designer at Neocore Games commented about the newly announced sequel, saying...
"In the first game it all seemed so simple," ... "defeat the mad scientist, free the land and ride into the sunset, but sometimes the fall of a villain only opens the way to more sinister foes.”
So it sounds like we've got a Dragonball Z thing going on with The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II where an even more powerful and destructive evil forces comes out the woodwork only after the first main evil dude is defeated.
The real highlight is tha the sequel will work as a new game plus mode for gamers who already purchased the first game. You'll be able to import your original character from the first Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and take on the brand new adventure with an already-established hero.
In the sequel, players will also be able to take Katarina with them on a continued adventure of monster hunting greatness, although details on the multiplayer component are scarce and we only know that Katarina will be in the game, but yeah any other info has not been divulged.
I sure hope this game doesn't get overshadowed by PlayStation 4 monster hunting exclusive, The Order: 1886. No release date has been set for Van Helsing II but you can keep up to date on the progress over on the official website.
