Dinosaur games don’t come a dime a dozen but the few that are out there are good enough to be left alone. In 2008 Buena Vista’s re-imagining of the famed Turok franchise still left much to be desired, but at least it managed to revive the good name with some respect. I don’t know why someone thought that Jurassic Park from the SNES/Sega era needed a redo on the newer consoles but they’re giving it a redo and a new debut teaser trailer was released to prove it.

Literally, the game looks just like a close (maybe too close) cousin of Turok: Same jungle environments, same first-person shooting – and yes, Jurassic: Hunted is now another first-person shooter – and it even features the same quick-time, dinosaur melee encounters. Doesn’t sound very original does it? Well, if it’s fun it won’t matter much.
