Sony is taking MotorStorm Apocalypse off the shelf. Weeks after delaying the game indefinitely, they've provided a new release date for North America.
MotorStorm Apocalypse will now be released on May 3rd in the US and Canada. It was originally scheduled for an April release but was pushed back for unknown reasons. It was speculated that the game was delayed due to the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. The reasoning was that the game's setting - a city devastated by a natural disaster - was insensitive in light of Japan's tragedy.
Sony also revealed today that new copies of the game will have vouchers for the Premier Pack DLC bundle. The bundle comes with two vehicles (pictured above) as well as unknown additional content.
