On the heels of EA's announcement that Brutal Legend would get a pre-launch demo in September, Double Fine has revealed that pre-order customers will get their hands on it before anyone else.

According to the official Brutal Legend blog (via Shacknews), the following retailers will offer early demo access and an exclusive in-game guitar to gamers who reserve copies:

• US - GameStop
• UK - GAME
• Australia - EB Games
• New Zealand - EB Games
• Italy - Blockbuster, GameRush
• Finland - Netanttila, VPD, Discshop

According to Gamestop, pre-order customers will get the demo "a week before anybody else." The download codes will be emailed on September 16th and if the demo goes live on that day, that means that the general public will get it on September 23rd. The full game hits stores on October 13th in North America and October 16th so you'll have a big window of time to try out the demo even if you don't reserve the game.
