The Farrelly Brothers are working on an anthology movie comprised of a series of short films and Digital Spy says they’ve gotten Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet involved in a dating scene. Jackman will apparently play a man with testicles under his chin and Winslet will play a woman who goes out on a date with him. Winslet’s character is, for some reason, the only person who notices Hugh’s chin-balls.

Neither Jackman nor Winslet is known for their comedic skills, but Jackman has shown a willinginess to make fun of himself while dancing around on various award shows while Kate had a brilliantly hilarious turn a few years ago on the Ricky Gervais series Extras. I’m on board with seeing both of them doing more comedy only, I wish they’d found a better project. Seriously, chin-balls is the best the Farrelly’s can come up with? It’s been done. In fact, Family Guy has an entire character based on this idea:


Elizabeth Banks, Bob Odenkirk and Brett Ratner will direct segments of the movie while Gerard Butler, Naomi Watts, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Justin Long and Sam Rockwell are among the cast in addition to Jackman and Winslet. The concept sounds kind of like The Ten, a similar comedy sketch anthology movie released by The State back in 2007. The Ten took a series of shorts and tied them together with a loose plot involving the Ten Commandments. The Farrelly's untitled project should be similar.
