Iron Man 3 Gets A New Featurette, Movie Marathon Announced

Over the last couple months we've seen a constant stream of goodies from Iron Man 3 find their way online, from trailers to stills to posters, but now that we are only a few weeks away from the theatrical release we can start to expect the big guns to start getting pulled out. TV spots are going to become more frequent and just yesterday we saw the release of the first clip, but today, thanks to Fandango, we have the above featurette that not takes you behind the scenes of the movie and introduces you to some of the new cast members (including Sir Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall and Guy Pearce), but shows off some new footage as well.

But that's not the only bit of Iron Man goodness we have for you today. For the biggest comic book movie fans out there, Marvel.com has announced that AMC Theaters will be holding a special movie marathon leading up to the release of Iron Man 3, featuring Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and The Avengers. The event will begin at 1:00pm on May 2nd at 110 locations throughout the country, but what's special is that they will be showing the newest Marvel Studios film at 9:00pm, three hours earlier than the midnight release. Fans will also get commemorative lanyards shaped like the arc reactor in Tony Stark's chest as well as one of four special edition RealD 3D glasses. The price of admission will be $30 and you can read more about it on the AMC Theaters official website.

Get excited, people! Iron Man 3 is almost here!
