From the premise (and title) of Nick Stoller’s The Five-Year Engagement, it sounds like the lead characters, played by Emily Blunt and Jason Segel, are taking a bit longer than usual to make it to the altar. The film is due to hit theaters in April and the stars were back on set for re-shoots recently, filming what looks like a fairly big moment from the film.

That’s your spoiler warning. Then again, it may not be a huge stretch to predict that, despite the evident issues involved in the engagement of Blunt and Segel’s characters, as revealed in the trailer, a wedding is likely in the cards for these two. At least, the photo below seems to suggest that.

According to Just Jared, the photo was taken yesterday (Wednesday, January 18th) in Los Angeles for re-shoots for The Five-Year Engagement. Is this a glimpse of the couple’s happy ending? That might be a fair assumption, barring the possibility of a wedding disaster, or a dream-sequence of some sort. You never know. In the meantime, don’t they look cute together?
