Megan Fox Joins Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Film

Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reimagining just got sexier … and a lot more interesting.

The director shared via his official Web site that former Transformers hottie Megan Fox is coming “back into the family” for TMNT. That’s all that was shared, and we’re jumping to the conclusion that Bay means Fox will be a member of the cast. Surely she isn’t directing the film, or contributing as a writer. With Bay, anything is possible, and we never know for sure.

For example, a few months back, I would have bet my mortgage that Fox never would have worked with Bay again after their frequent and highly-publicized dust ups over the Transformers movies, of which Fox acted in two. Things got ugly when Fox left the third Transformers movie, replaced by the equally gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Fox, at the time, compared Bay to either Hitler or a Nazi … but, you know, in Hollywood, enemies only last so long when you are out of work and in need of another tentpole to bolster your resume.

The Ninja Turtles project was put on ice at Paramount and shifted back to a 2014 release date. The Fox news is the first sign that the wheels on the production are spinning, even though Bay himself will be shifting into Transformers 4 mode very quickly. But what do you think Fox will do in a new TNMT movie? Will she be April O'Neil, the longtime reporter companion of the heroes? Will she lend a voice? Play a human colleague who has to help on a mission? Cover Vanilla Ice’s red-hot theme song? The possibilities are endless.
