Marvel’s superhero laden summer kicks off in just a few months on May 6th, with the release of Thor. You’ve seen the first teaser trailer now we have another look at the god turned hero film.

Thor stars Chris Hemsworth The Mighty Thor, a powerful, ancient warrior whose reckless actions reignite war and get him banished to Earth. There, he becomes a protector as the dark forces of his world threaten to invade.

While a lot of this trailer is just an expanded version of the first teaser it does give us a lot more of both Natalie Portman and Kat Dennings. It looks like Kat Dennings is going to be that girl in the film, the one who name checks modern pop culture references like Facebook. Natalie Portman seems, mostly, well, confused. You would be too if confronted by this dude. It works.

The only thing that maybe doesn’t work is the giant CGI monster at the end. CGI monsters are a dicey proposition and that one looks a little too Clash of the Titans for comfort. Don’t worry, they have plenty of time left to work on the movie’s special effects, by the time we see it in May it’ll almost certainly look even better.
