I love Rupert Grint not because how he looks and whatever the other gals do, but for his acting and the sense of humor and the comedy timings he performed, he makes me laugh and he is cute too. I love him since i seen him in 1st hp film, i like dan also but rupert is great i love him soooo much.

Oh laws, I hate when folks do this. This constant comparison.

Ok, I admit it, I'm a Rupert fan. BUT, I respect the career decisions that Dan makes.

I've not see Equus, but I've read the play and there is more to it than the nudity , however; it did disappoint me that not only the media but the producers promoted the play on that angle (the publicity pics and all.) But hey, it is a very Hollywood thing to do.

Some Dan fans disturb me just cause they go out of their way to hate on Rupert.

Some of my fellow Rupert fans disturb me, because they go out of their way to hate on Dan. (Calling Dan stupid will not earn you brownie points and it does not represent the fandom well.)

I like Rupert because I am drawn to him when he's on the screen. From before I knew his name, when I watched the earlier movies, when he was on screen, I tended to watch him like a hawk. Not because of his extreme movements, but his subtle reactions.

When I saw Thunderpants, I knew that it was a kiddie movie, but what I liked about it was that I knew that I could except him in roles outside of Potter, because I didn't see Ron at all, only Alan.

When I first saw DL (at the NY premiere with him THERE,) once again, I found myself not thinking Ron, but Ben. And that when he's performing, he's able to emit more than one emotion at the same time. I always feel like he's thinking like his character, and not just waiting for his next line.

So, I don't know what CB will bring, I hope it's good thing. Of course, the haters will probably be there to blast him: he's not cute enough, it didn't make more money than..., it was a small movie and not a big one, etc.

However, one thing that I do know Rupert always uses the expression of having a good experience. So, regardless of what happens, I hope once again that Rupert has himself a good experience. :)

I hope for the best for all the Potter actors....

As long as they are doing what makes THEM happy in the end, who's to say they aren't a success?

Have You Ever Seen Daniel Act?hes totally dumb out there, as the CHOSEN ONE,leading as if he knows all about acting.but then just look at Rupert,he's the side role,out of sight,not having good comments for himself even in the movie ,always taken to the side by daniel,who thinks he is the real star of the movie and really is soooo bogus to look at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw that movie and was totally turned on by it. lol, he's hot, no dipshit, but I love is seriousness, it's too appealing, for one. And I loved the part when he told the girl off at the end of the movie. i think it wa slike one line though.

Sarah, deciding to go totally naked LIVE on stage at such an early stage is not something I will call a sound career move. Dan has not even reached age 18 when he did it. Not even Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom (who reportedly turned down the role) or Brad Pitt have dared to go to such deep ends at any stage of their careers so far. It was premature, it was desperate, especially for someone who need not really be desperate considering his status and the height of his popularity at this time. It would naturally bring him "quick" results, but not a long lasting one, in my opinion. He's got nothing else left to show now, what's next for him? Anything else he does now will pale in comparison to what he did in Equus. Recall December Boys which you did not seem to include in his list of projects in your post? It was released after your almighty controversial Equus, but December Boys certainly did not derive any benefit from it. I rest my case.

Daniel Radcliffe is the better actor - in my (bias "total complete fan girl' opinion. ) But Rupert is the second strongest. Why are people always comparing DR to him? Their two different people, leave it alone. I wish him luck.

LOL Joslin read my previous comment.Is not about Dan fans or Rupert fans,is the roles that they take out of HP.Dan has done more roles,his reviews were awesomes...he has the role of Dan Eldon after HP.This is obvious and is the important,not the opinion of the fans.

Can't wait for this movie to come out. Rupert has turned into a fine actor and like with Driving Lessons, I think he will give the critics something to smile about.

No, Rupert is just as good as (or maybe a better) actor as Daniel. It's just that he has a different way of going about his career than Daniel. While Daniel seems to crave the limelight and wants to go main stream, Rupert is happy to get the occasional good role and prefers indie work to main stream. There are plenty of actors out there that do the same, only once in awhile venturing out to the high profit, heavy media induced, money making popular projects.
I respect Rupert highly for this. It takes a very self-assured person to not jump on the media bandwagon and stick to their guts about what they want for and in their lives.
I for one am looking forward to Cherry Bomb and I will be there every step of the way along with the thousands of other Rupert Grint lovers.
But it's ok Sarah, if you've choosen that in order to be a Dan fan you cannot be a Rupert fan. He and Daniel will do what they want to do, and both will be successful at it, no matter what you or I think.

Who has done more roles out of HP,getting the best reviews??Daniel Radcliffe.So,he has better future as actor than the other two.

I think Rupert will have a more stable, long lasting career because he is making more sound career judgments. Dan will probably make the bigger splash but short-lived, give him around 2 years, and that's generously long enough. Meanwhile, Rupert is not in a hurry or desperate to prove himself and I think its because he knows, and has faith, in his abilities. And for good reason, its always been said by many, after all, that he is the better actor among the young ones in the potter films. He will probably hit the career highs and lows along the way, and then finally settle down to a comfortable enough position in his older years in acting like George Clooney, Johnny Depp or Edward Norton and Robert Downey Jr.

It's a matter of opinion who is better. I personally think Rupert will have the better career but I love how professional and mature Daniel is. He takes risky roles and I respect that. Emma is going to school but she could have an awesome modeling career if she wanted.

This sounds like a great career move for Rupert. Cherry Bomb seems to be exactly the kind of material that can give him more credibility. Rupert is clearly the better actor of the trio in Harry Potter.
