Everything I’m seeing about Kenneth Branagh’s Cinderella has me more excited for his finished work. Even though it has Helena Bonham Carter, it doesn’t appear as cartoonish and empty as the studio's live-action take on Alice in Wonderland. (Branagh and Tim Burton operate on different playing fields, for starters.)
