Avengers Viral Launched, It's Time To Join S.H.I.E.L.D

Just this morning I checked into my hotel room in San Francisco, CA in preparation for WonderCon - which begins today - and I found a little card sitting on my desk. A message from Nicholas J. Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D. (played by Samuel L. Jackson in the Marvel movies), the note said that I "have been selected" and prompted me to turn on my television to channel 72. What aired is the following:

If it wasn't already plainly obvious, Marvel has launched their viral campaign for The Avengers. Why do I assume that it's The Avengers? Because the only footage shown is for Thor, and we are simply too close to that release date for them to be starting something now. I fully expect that at a later date will have an update that will have viral footage from Captain America. The video asks that you go to JoinShield.com, but sadly that site won't be activated for another ten days. From what I can tell the site will give you the opportunity to apply for a job at S.H.I.E.L.D., much like they did prior to Iron Man 2, but hopefully this campaign actually goes somewhere. Stay tuned for more stuff out of WonderCon!
