Demi Lovato: I Just Found Out I Have Another Sister

Demi Lovato has always come off as a spunky chick willing to speak her mind and talk openly and honestly about her emotions. Earlier this week, she added to that reputation by revealing a major family secret live on the radio. Apparently, she has a half sister who she didn’t know anything about until a few months ago.

The frank conversation happened while Lovato was talking to WBLI in Long Island. She was asked whether she wanted to reveal something about her personal life to her fans, and she did not disappoint. Here’s a portion of her quote, as per People Magazine…

"I asked her, I said, 'Why haven't you ever contacted me?' She said, 'Well, I never wanted you to think I wanted anything from you. So I've just been kind of waiting to see if you wanted a relationship.' I thought that was so incredible. So, I actually have three sisters."

The girl in question is more than a decade older than the twenty-year-old Lovato, but beyond that, almost no details have been made public. We have no idea which of Demi’s parents the girl was born to or whether that parent has been involved in her life at all. Regardless, it’s nice to see the X Factor judge is taking the news so well. Everybody could use an extra sister, especially if she’s friendly, caring and wants nothing more than a relationship.
