Do You Support The Protests Against Chris Brown Performing?

Earlier today, the promoters for an upcoming concert in Guyana announced pop star Chris Brown has decided to opt out of the performance. The gig was set to take place on December 26 in a local stadium, but after numerous protests by opposition leaders and women’s rights groups, the musician decided hitting up the small country was no longer in his best interests.
Given how severely he injured Rihanna during the much-discussed domestic violence incident and how poorly he behaved with the media afterwards, it’s not a surprise many ladies would not want Brown to perform anywhere near the country. In fact, it’s understandable they’d be bothered so many people up and forgave Brown after what happened.
On the other hand, however, Rihanna and Brown actually spent Thanksgiving together. She’s long since forgiven her former boyfriend for what happened, and in the grand scheme of things, it’s not really fair to try to prevent him from working forever. Maybe he has changed, and maybe he just wants to go about his life.
What do you think? Do you support all of the protests in Guyana against Brown taking the stage, or do you think all of the aggression was misguided and foolish? Let us know where you stand on the issue by casting your vote in the poll below…
