Lady Gaga Goes Partially Bald In Honor Of Friend's Mom

Lady Gaga has gotten rid of most of her hair. The pop star, long known for doing strange and interesting things with her locks, completely buzzed the back earlier this weekend, becoming the latest in a long line of celebs including Miley Cyrus, Girls creator Lena Dunham and Kellie Pickler to chop off a significant portion of her hair.

Like Pickler, Gaga made the change for a good friend, in her case, Terry Richardson. She and the popular photographer have been close for many years. He lost his mother, Annie Lomax, earlier this week; so, the head monster decided to do something to honor her. You can take a look at her tweet, followed by the accompanying picture…

At this point, we have no way of knowing whether Gaga took the plunge further and got rid of more. Hell, we don’t even know what the front of her head looks like, but given how often she tweets photographs, we should know within the next few days. I suspect she knows what she’s doing, but even if she doesn’t, it’s not like she doesn’t have an assortment of bizarre and fun wigs that could fix any disasters.
