Scary TV Lineup: October 17th Through October 19th

Halloween is not that far away and we’re already starting to see some scary movies and other Halloween-themed films pop up on the TV line-up. In case you haven’t had the chance to run down the listings for what’s coming up this weekend, we did it for you! Pickin’s are somewhat slim this weekend as we head towards the end of the month but if you’re craving something scary, there are a few movies lined up for you to choose from:

Friday (10/17):

7:00 p.m.
Joy Ride - FX – Two brothers take a road trip and play a trick on a trucker who turns out to be a crazy murderer.

8:00 p.m.
Ghost Adventures: The Beginning - Travel – In this documentary, a group of paranormal investigators head off to Nevada’s Old Washoe Club and the Goldfield Hotel to look for ghosts.

The Ring - TNT – This scary remake of a Japanese thriller is about a reporter who investigates her niece’s death, which might have been linked to viewing a strange videotape.

9:00 p.m.
Wrong Turn - FX – A bunch of people get lost in the woods and are terrorized by a bunch of crazy, cannibalistic hillbillies.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - Disney – In the second film in the series, Harry and his friends try to figure out who or what is petrifying students (and a cat) at Hogwarts.

10:30 p.m.
Tales from the Crypt Presents Bordello of Blood - AMC – A preacher and a detective attempt to take down a brothel full of sexy vampires.

Saturday (10/18):

8:00 p.m.
Final Destination 3 - TNT – It’s happening again! In the third film in the trilogy, a high school girl witnesses a horrific roller-coaster accident before it happens. She and the people she convinces to get off the coaster before it leaves the station are later picked off by death, one by one.

9:00 p.m.
Fire and Ice - Sci Fi – This new Sci Fi film sounds more fantasy-ish than scary but it stars Amy Acker (Fred, from Angel!) and centers on an ice dragon that is summoned to do battle with the fire dragon.

Sunday (10/19):

7:00 p.m.
Monster Ark - Sci Fi – Archeologists in the middle east unearth an ancient evil.

8:00 p.m.
The Ring - TNT – Just in case you missed it on Friday.
