When Activision said that 007 Legends would pay tribute to the history of James Bond, they meant it. They won't ignore On Her Majesty's Secret Service, the film starring the much-maligned George Lazenby.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service was the only Bond movie that Lazenby starred in. He received mixed reviews for his performance. The fact that he was replacing Sean Connery, the original Bond, probably didn't help his chances.
Majesty will be one of six Bond films featured in Legends' campaign. Roger Moore's Moonraker and the upcoming film Skyfall have also been confirmed so far. The other three missions will likely star the other three actors who played Bond over the years: Connery, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan.
The two screenshots from the Majesty mission, obtained by IGN, show Bond in the snowy mountains of Switzerland. He mans a helicopter-mounted machinegun in one shot and battles henchmen on snowmobiles in the next. Y'know, typical Bond shit.
Legends will launchworldwide on October 16th on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
