Army Of The Damned, Browser-Based FPS Zombie Game Goes Online
Xform has announced that the free-to-play, browser-based shooter, Army of the Damned is currently available at a local browser near you. All you need is the latest Shockwave update plugin and you’re good to start blasting the noggins off the living dead.
For those of you who may not have PCs up-to-date enough to play strategic, high-end, team-based shooters like Left 4 Dead or the upcoming Dead Island, there’s always small, browser-based, poor-man’s versions of the aforementioned titles such as Army of the Dead.
Basically, the 3D, first-person shooter throws players into an impossible scenario where the goal is to survive wave-after-wave of brain-hungry zombies. Players will be armed with an XM8 assault rifle, grenades and a knife for those of you who like to get up close and personal with the walking dead. Flares are also available in your inventory to call in air-drops for additional supplies.
If you’re into racking up high scores and bragging to your friends about how well you would do if you had to survive in a horde of zombies then Army of the Damned just might a good pastime game as you wait for Modern Warfare 3 to land at your nearest retailer.
You can check out Army of the Damned over at the Official ShockWave Website.
