Battlefield 3 Open Beta Begins Next Week, PC System Requirements Revealed

DICE is letting all interested players try out Battlefield 3 before the game hits stores. They plan to launch the open beta on September 29th on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

If you pre-order the digital PC version of BF3 through Origin before September 25th, you'll get 48 hours of early access to the beta. Owners of the Limited or Tier 1 Editions of Medal of Honor will get this access as well. Additional details on this can be found at the official beta site.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the beta can be downloaded via their respective online marketplaces. The PC version requires you to install EA's digital gaming platform Origin and nab the beta through it. Speaking of the PC version, here's what you'll need to run the game:

The beta will end on October 10th. The full game will arrive two painful, BF-less weeks later.
