BioWare confirmed the release date for the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 today. It will arrive almost exactly a year after the game first debuted on the PC and Xbox 360.
IGN learned from BioWare that the PS3 ME2 will ship on January 18th, 2011 in the US. Europe's release is slated for January 21st. Both territories received the PC/360 iterations on January 26th of this year.
The PS3 ME2 ships with most of the downloadable content released for the other two versions. PS3 owners will also get an interactive comic that explains the events of the first game, which was never brought to that console.
