Did you miss out on the Pink 3DS XL the last time it was released? Well, you're getting a second chance to pick one up. Nintendo of America announced plans to re-release the model in North America this week.

"It’s almost Valentine’s Day! Treat yourself (or a loved one) to a new Pink/White Nintendo #3DS XL!" tweeted the company yesterday.

The Pink 3DS XL, featuring white lining and interior, was released last November as well. The handheld was bundled with either Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask or Style Savvy: Trendsetters. You had to be a member of the shopping site Gilt to purchase it. As Nintendo Life notes, these bundles were in short supply so many fans went empty-handed.

Nintendo hasn't announced any details about the re-release, such as its price or whether it will be bundled with a game. Quantities will probably be limited once again, though.
