Some brand new community screenshots for Project CARS has been released and this time there's a plethora of shots for the Porsche, as well as BMW and Ford's Super GT. As always, the game teeters on the brink of breaking the barrier between an immersive video game experience and a showcase of real-life automotive beauty.

DSO Gaming has been keeping a close eye on Slightly Mad Studios' community, constantly edging out other sites in grabbing the content and putting it out there for the public to see. The latest bit of screenshots are drop dead gorgeous as usual and follow close on the heels of Jonz' very impressive duet of trailers highlighting Pagani's supercars.

I think I'm still most impressed with the comparison between real racing cars and Project CARS, that just blew my mind how close Slightly Mad Studios has come to realism-achieved on such a modest budget, especially when compared to other studios out there who spend an arm, a leg and their lower extremities just to tout sub-par graphical offerings.

You can look for Project CARS to launch later this year for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. The game will look exactly how you see it in the screenshots for PC and run at 60 glorious frames per second. Sadly, the Wii U version will be capped at 720p and 30fps.
