Resident Evil 6 Infinite Ammo Option Makes It Easy For Casuals

If you're afraid of stepping into Resident Evil 6 because it seems too scary, or potentially stepping into the game for the very first time, you may not want to experience all the horror and terror the way it was intended to be experienced. Hence, Capcom has included an infinite ammo option for casual gamers right from the start.
Usually infinite ammo is a feature reserved as a cheat code or unlocked after beating the game, at which point you could access special goodies such as a hardcore difficulty or other features to increase the fun-factors. For Resident Evil 6, Capcom is doing something slightly different, they're making some features standard right from the start, according to the Gamer's Hub.
The site isn't the only one questioning why the infinite ammo option is there, many gamers across forum boards are curious why an infinite ammo option is even available from the start of a game that's supposed to be a horror-survival? Well, it's there for casual gamers. Capcom couldn't have casuals quitting because it's too hard or they used their ammo stupidly like Conan O'Brien.
To increase sales and playability, it's easier to keep non-core gamers playing by making the game as easy as possible, hence the quick-time events and the ability to turn off “attack reactions”, the standard feature where the on-screen character reacts to being hit. It was one of the more challenging aspects of Resident Evil because your character reacting to being hit made it seem more visceral and engaging, but for players who would rather just barrel through opposition without flinching you can turn the feature off, according to Gamer's Hub.
Resident Evil 6 will release tomorrow, so for those of you planning on picking the game up day-one you can mess around with the infinite ammo options to make the game easier or more convenient...if you're casual.
