Ubisoft plans to follow up Splinter Cell: Conviction's release with weekly installments of free downloadable content. Yes, we mean "no money" free.
The first piece of free content is the MP7A1 machine pistol. Ubisoft intends to release new weapons, skins, and a multiplayer map. When released, the DLC will be available through the game's "Extras" menu.
Additional content can be purchased through Uplay. Uplay tokens are earned by accomplishing objectives in Conviction or Assassins Creed II.
