Yes, the developers who brought you the Warner Bros. Interactive title Justice League Heroes, has been acquired as an asset by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group. Yes, Snowblind Studios has just become publisher fodder. The good thing, though, is that they at least already had a good relationship with Warner Bros.

“The acquisition of Snowblind is an important milestone for our games business, allowing us to expand our development capabilities even further,” said Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “We are proud to be associated with such a talented team that is focused on executing innovative and captivating game designs.”

Ryan Geithman, Studio Head, Snowblind Studios commented on the acquisition, saying “Our team is committed at every level to making the best gaming experience possible for our audiences.”

Yes, well Mr. Geithman, it would be in your best interest to make a good game…otherwise you could go the way of Free Radical, Ensemble Studios or a bunch of other developers who recently bit the dust. Hopefully things will work out for Snowblind and the Warner Bros. acquisition, considering that they aren’t a bad studio.

At present Warner Bros. is currently publishing Wanted: Weapons of Fate and F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origins. So they have their hands full. You can learn more about Snowblind and Warner Bros.
