Weekly Recap March 6th: PS3 Catches Red Ring Fever, Portal 2 And SOCOM 4 Coming

In what must be the most shocking news of this generation of gaming, the PlayStation 3 contracted a brief case of “Red Rings Fever”, a disease that started with the Xbox 360 that makes a console unusable for most of its functionality. However, it actually turned out to be a late Y2K bug in the case of the PS3. After setting the game world on fire with the heart-stopping turn of events, everything was eventually worked out and the fever passed on. The PS3 wasn't the only headliner this week, as there was an announcement of SOCOM 4 as well as a surprise unveiling of the brand new Lara Croft game and a Portal sequel. These stories and more in this March 6th edition of the Blend Games Weekly Recap.
