Bond Director To Tackle Kurt Cobain

I was not a fan of Marc Forster’s Bond movie, but I remain a fan of Marc Forster. Sure Quantum of Solace sucked, but it looked damned good, as every Marc Forster movie does. Spy movies just aren’t his thing, so it’s nice to find out that he’s moving on to something different. Production Weekly reports that Forster is considering doing a Kurt Cobain biopic for Universal.

It’s kind of amazing that a movie about the Nirvana lead singer hasn’t been done before now. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but back in the 90s he was kind of a big deal. He’s sort of like Tupac, but for white kids. Or Bob Marley, for suicidal heroin addicts. There have been other attempts to get something like this off the ground, but if Forster is considering getting involved then this may be the one that finally gets done.
