A return to drama after directing 2011's The Dilemma, Howard's new film tells the story of the legendary rivalry between Lauda (Daniel Bruhl) and James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) as they aimed to take over the world of Formula 1 racing - until Lauda was involved in a horrific crash that nearly killed him. Despite his accident, however, which left the Austrian driver with severe facial burns Scripted by Peter Morgan, who previously worked with the director on the 2008 acclaimed drama Frost/Nixon, the new movie also stars Olivia Wilde and Natalie Dormer. Look for the film in theaters on September 20th.

This certainly looks like a return to Oscar season form for Howard, but does it excite you and make you want to see it in theaters? Could this be either Hemsworth or Bruhl's first chances to pick up an Academy Award nomination? Let us know your thoughts about the new trailer and images in the comments section below!
