Clinton Gets Nicholson's Support

I’m not sure what Hillary Clinton’s obsession with movies and popular culture is. I can respect it, because in a way it makes her more accessible. At the same time, it seems like a weird way to run a presidential campaign.

For those who haven’t been keeping up with our would-be presidential candidate’s campaign, early on Clinton used a spoof of The Sopranos finale, putting her and Former President Bill in a diner booth. It was quaint and timely, but few people got what she was saying beyond the parody. Since then, Clinton has continued to hold on to pop culture, including an appearance on The Daily Show this week.

The latest ad supporting Hillary’s campaign features a montage of Jack Nicholson clips. To be fair, the ad doesn’t come from Clinton’s camp, but instead is to show Nicholson’s support of the Democratic candidate. After the collection of clips from movies ranging from Batman to Five Easy Pieces, today’s Jack shows up to mention this ad has his approval. Probably would have been better to just throw that approval on through audio or text, however, because all I was left with by the end of the commercial was the thought of how old Nicholson is now.

The advertisement is online through YouTube. Take a look below:
