But thus far he hasn't gone much into the action genre, and he's looking to fix that by taking on a Jerry Bruckheimer action thriller.
Yes, the director of Wonder Boys will be collaborating with Jerry Bruckheimer on Gemini Man, a drama about an NSA agent set to be assassinated by a cloned version of himself. Whoah. Variety reports that David Benioff (The Kite Runner, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) is working on the screenplay, wrapping things up after the story has spent a decade in development.
