Elisabeth Rohm Will Be Taylor Lautner's Mom In Abduction
In real life Elisabeth Rohm is a 37-year-old actress who just gave birth to her first child in 2008. Movie world is a twisted place, though, and beautiful and young Rohm is now being cast as the mother of 18-year-old Taylor Lautner in Abduction. According to THR, Rohm's character will be the biological mother whom Lautner must hunt down when he learns that his parents aren't actually his own. For some reason this revelation results in him going on the run, so expect Rohm to use some of those skills she showed off on Heroes to play a spy, or criminal, or something in this one.
Rohm's role had originally gone to Emily Mortimer, and it's not clear why she bailed. Lily Collins, Maria Bello and Sigourney Weaver round out the cast of the film, which will presumably start filming soon in order to take maximum advantage of Taylor Lautner mania. After all, that six-pack can't last forever!
