The actual images we've seen from Marvel's Thor are a little silly if you ask me-- pulling the hammer out of a rock while it rains indoors?-- but the only poster so far, which you can see here, is simple and elegant. You get a little bit of cape, a little bit of armor and some nice visual emphasis on the hammer, but nothing that makes the movie look like a destined camp classic, which I can't help but expect it to be once it opens May 6.
Now there's a French poster that's going for the same neat and basic vibe at Clone Web, advertising the film's release over there on April 27. It's really not that much different from the American poster, just showing off more of Chris Hemsworth's face but keeping the very bright red cape. Check out the poster below and gaze into those smoldering eyes while you and Thor both think about the wonders of Mjolnir.
