The Hunger Games Catching Fire Capitol Couture Effie

Anybody who has read Suzanne Collins' books or see Gary Ross' The Hunger Games knows that the people in the Capitol have a...unique fashion taste. A means to express their opulence, residents typically wear big, eye catching clothes flashy colors and a ridiculous amount of makeup. It only makes sense that they would have at least one fashion magazine dictating style and what's hot or not, and that's where Capitol Couture comes in.

Lionsgate has relaunched the Hunger Games tumblr account with what they are calling the "Spring Issue." A press release announcing the launch of the site says that it is the first of many seasonal issues to come. The site is filled with all kinds of articles and fashion photography, including new looks at Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket. You can see those shots both above and below as well as an outfit designed in the style of District 10, the district best known for raising livestock. Check them out and head over to the source for more!
