Sucker Punch takes place entirely in the imagination of a teenage girl, and yet for some reason the world she imagines looks like World War II steampunk. Shouldn’t she be fantasizing she’s in Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video or something? Clearly this is not a normal girl.
So since she’s really into retro-style imagery, it only makes sense that Sucker Punch’s marketing would go retro too. Five new, retro-styled Sucker Punch posters have appeared online, via Kino Gallery, and they’re pretty cool. Take a look:
