Ten years ago, the guys who wrote Wedding Crashers sold a script about a dude who hires a fake family in an attempt to smuggle more than a thousand pounds of marijuana from Mexico to the United States. Initially, the project got some early traction with a few big names including Steve Buscemi and Will Arnett considering roles, but nothing ever came of the hype, at least until Jennifer Aniston picked up We’re The Millers earlier this year.

Now she and Jason Sudeikis are officially ready to toke up, and another smoking buddy has committed to join them. According to Variety, Wanderlust star Kathryn Hahn has joined the cast as the vacationing wife of a DEA agent. Assumedly, her trip will take her to Mexico, and knowing her, she’ll provide a wacky counterpunch to the film’s principal cast members.

In addition to Hahn, Aniston and Sudeikis, Ed Helms and Will Poulter have also committed to the film, which, altogether, now boasts a pretty hilarious and eclectic cast. The Friends actress is always better when she’s reacting to the hilarity of others rather than trying to force it on her own; so, surrounding her with funny actors and actresses who are good off the cuff should prove to be a batch of success. We’ll see.

Production has already been scheduled for later this month in North Carolina; so, expect the fun to hit screens sometime next year.
