Lily Collins is a name and face we’ll probably be familiar with soon enough (if you aren't already). While her previous credits are minimal, she’s set to play the lead role in the yet-to-be-titled Tarsem Singh directed Snow White film, and that’s not the only project she has coming up. The young, British actress has been cast in the upcoming indie film The English Teacher.

While Collins’ acting credits may be minimal, she has appeared in a number of notable films, including playing Collins Tuohy in The Blind Side, as well as roles in Priest and Abduction. In all likelihood, she is or will soon be most known for playing Snow White, starring alongside Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer in the film, which is expected to hit theaters next year.

According to Deadline, Collins has also joined the cast of The English Teacher, which will put her in the company of Julianne Moore, Greg Kinnear, Nathan Lane, and Michael Angarano. The indie comedy stars Moore as an English teacher who convinces a former student to direct his play at her school, “which creates more drama than she’s ever known.” Collins will play a high school student who “comes into conflict with the teacher.”

Whether or not this role proves to be a big one for her remains to be seen, but given the cast of The English Teacher, this project could certainly give her career another nudge toward stardom.
