Marcia Gay Harden Joins Bryan Cranston And Miles Teller In Get A Job

With Bryan Cranston, Miles Teller, Anna Kendrick, Alison Bree, and Jay Pharaoh already on board to star, the cast of the Dylan Kidd directed film Get a Job is already looking pretty great. Now we can add Marcia Gay Harden to the list of reasons to keep an eye out for this movie, which began production earlier this month in Los Angeles.

Get a Job is described as a multi-generational comedy, which stars Cranston and Teller as father and son, both of whom are looking for work. The premise of the movie follows four college graduates “who discover that their lofty expectations and the realities of adulthood are two very different things.” The focus on job-hunting may lead the characters to Marcia Gay Harden’s character.

CBS Films announced today that the Harden is joining the film, playing “a demanding Vice President at an executive placement firm, who runs her division according to her own rules.” It certainly sounds like an interesting role, and one Harden will likely excel at. She’s proven to be an especially versatile actress, and has been jumping back and forth between the big and small screen, with roles in Law & Order: SVU, Royal Pains and Damages among her TV credits, and feature roles in Whip It and Into the Wild.
