When Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joined the Fast and the Furious ensemble for the muscle-bound fifth installment, he revealed the news on Twitter. When the cast (and director Justin Lin) reunited in London to begin work on a sixth Fast, they all took to Twitter. So now that Johnson’s on set and filming scenes, where do you think he’s choosing to share them?

You guessed it: His Twitter feed.

Johnson respectfully calls this one “Beast and the Beauty,” posting an image with Haywire star (and former fighter) Gina Carano. According to The Rock, Carano is his “partner in ass kickins (and fun).” In Fast Five, Johnson played Luke Hobbs, an agent obsessed with bringing Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) to justice. His quest expands in Fast Six (or whatever Lin decides to call it), and Carano isn’t the only fresh face. As we reported, The Raid co-star Joe Taslim has been confirmed as another villain in the sequel. And there’s that persistent rumor that Rihanna has a part in the new movie.

I guess we’ll find out soon enough. Filming is expected to continue on Fast Six for the next few weeks. Universal has slotted the sequel for a May 24, 2013 release date, where it will go head-to-head against Fox’s animated Epic and Todd Phillips’ final Hangover comedy. If you had to choose one of the three, which one would you see first?
