The celebrity site Hollywood Tuna has come up with some pics of Uma Thurman filming her next movie, Super Ex-Girlfriend. I’ve posted one of them to your right.
The film is exactly what the title suggests. A guy finds out his girlfriend has superpowers, and then foolishly dumps her anyway. She’s not happy, and so she uses her powers to torment him in really horrible, super-powered ways.
The superhero genre has been twisted and turned more ways than necessary. So far, most of the weirder ideas for it have either never made it to screen or turned out surprisingly well (Sky High). With Uma involved it’s hard to believe it’s as bad as the title and the plot synopsis suggest, but no matter what the cute little twist, I think we’re all sick of superheroes.
