The summer season already feels like it has been flying by. Major titles like Iron Man 3, The Great Gatsby and Star Trek Into Darkness have already found their way into theaters and both The Hangover Part III and Fast & Furious 6 will be doing the same this week. But while it may seem like it's all just going a little bit too quickly, the good news is that it just means that our wait until the release of Man of Steel will feel shorter.
Coming Soon has found a set of three brand new character posters for the highly-anticipated Superman film, each of which frames one of the major stars and actors in the movie. Up top, of course, is Henry Cavill as the new Man of Tomorrow, but below you will also find solo designs for both Zod, as portrayed by the amazing Michael Shannon, and Jor-El, the extraterrestrial father-figure played by Russell Crowe. Check them out and head here and here to see them full size.
Developed by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer, Man of Steel is a cinematic retelling of Superman's origin story, from his birth on Krypton to his adolescence in Smallville to the start of his heroic career in the Fortress of Solitude. In addition to the three actors seen above the movie also stars Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix, and Richard Schiff. Warner Bros. will have the movie in theaters on June 14th.
