Here in the States, we tend not to give a damn about soccer-- or football, as our cousins across the pond insist upon calling it. But in the U.K., and plenty of other countries around the world, it's a huge deal, and worthy of an entire movie about one particularly legendary soccer coach.
So while Americans might not normally care about The Damned United, a biopic about Leeds United coach Brian Clough, it's got two things we're typically interested in: Peter Morgan and Michael Sheen. The two have teamed up on two features before, The Queen and Frost/Nixon, both of which were nominated for Oscars. Now screenwriter Morgan and actor Sheen have reunited for a third time. Now aren't you kind of curious what this football business is all about?
