If there is one really great thing about Dwayne Johnson, it's that he knows how to put together a mean Instagram post. The actor is known for teasing his films through social media and Fast 8 is no different. Johnson's been teasing a much darker Luke Hobbs for the eighth installment, as a man who has had everything he loved stripped away from him. In case anyone has forgotten, Dwayne Johnson used to be a wrestler in WWE and he uses every ounce of his hyping abilities in this Instagram video. Put on your headphones and get ready to feel psyched.

A Hobbs-led prison riot in order to break out of prison? Yes, please. This looks like it's going to be a big scene in the film and it doesn't seem to involve even one car. As Johnson describes in the caption on Instagram, this is a scene that he's apparently wanted to do for a long time, and he's certainly excited about it. It's not clear if Dom or any of his buddies will be on hand to help bust Hobbs out of the joint, but a part of me just wants Hobbs to do this by himself. He's definitely one of the coolest characters in the series, but he usually doesn't get to do much on his own. This is putting the spotlight on him in a big way.

Based on everything we know Fast 8 is going to be a very big movie for Hobbs. The Rock posted a pic of a real tough and down-on-his-luck Hobbs a few months ago, claiming that he had "lost everything." This implies that he's either lost his job, his daughter, his partner Elena Neves, or some combination of all three. Charlize Theron's villain Cipher is supposed to hit the team where it hurts and present a challenge they've never faced before. Sounds like the stakes will be pretty personal. It's possible that once Hobbs breaks out of jail, he'll be looking for blood and it's a safe bet that Cipher will be number one on his hit list.

Can we also take a moment to relish in how much fun the Rock is having? Listen to how he describes the character of Hobbs.

A man who lives by a code of ethics, but will also rip your throat out and give it back to you just so you can apologize to him.

It's good to know he's enjoying himself. The Rock looks absolutely pumped to begin this scene and it's making me absolutely pumped to watch it. We'll all be able to do that when Fast 8 finally hits theaters next year on April 14, 2017. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan.
