Watch Chris Evans Hilariously Prank People With A Captain America Doll

Although he was not the first hero to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Evans (and his alter ego Steve Rogers) has slowly but surely become one of the coolest. He is the heart and soul of the MCU, and the Captain America movies are one of the most consistent solo franchises currently in existence. The guy just oozes cool, and a brand new video of him pranking people in a comic book store with a Captain America doll only serves to solidify that fact. Check it out below to see for yourself.

If you ever needed any more reasons to love Chris Evans, this video should do the trick. Lending his voice to a Captain America doll, the actor turns an entire comic book store into a genuine escape room and forces patrons of the store to get out against a ticking clock. This challenge forces them to think fast, make complete fools out of themselves in public, and ultimately find Mr. Evans waiting for them in the basement of the comic book store.

The whole ordeal looks like a ton of fun (seriously, why does nothing like this ever happen to me when I got to a comic book store), but we would be remiss for not pointing out how upsetting it was to see these people fail so miserably at some of the easier tasks. Captain America expects better of you, people.

Captain America Chris Evans

Of course, there's more to this video than just a simple prank; the whole thing is a philanthropic endeavor sponsored by Omaze to support the Christopher's Haven organization. The charity, founded by the actor himself, provides a home away from home for children battling cancer. I know Chris Evans cannot lift cars or run a two-minute mile, but the guy is seriously a hero in his own right.

The contest (which you can enter by clicking this link) will allow you to bring three friends to go on a similar escape room adventure of your very own, hang out with Chris Evans (along with free beer and burgers), and enjoy impressive 4-star hotel accommodations. You are technically not supposed to receive anything in return of charity, but that is a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

CinemaBlend will keep you up to date regarding any and all relevant information related to Chris Evans' escape room challenge as more updates are made available to us. Beyond that, make sure to stay tuned for more details about the future of Chris Evans' Steve Rogers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
