Avengers: Infinity War Casting Call May Suggest Scenes In A Cosmic Location

Nobody knows quite what to expect from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, outside of Thanos and a large glove, of course. However, a casting call for extras may have given us at least one setting for the new movie. It also would seem to indicate that something bad is going to befall the location. The casting call starts out very general, men and women of any ethnicity between 18 and 50 years of age. However, they are apparently really looking for men with long hair and beards, and any interested parties need to include the word "Vikings" in the subject line of their email. It would seem that we're headed to Asgard at some point. The bad news for Asgard, however, is that any interested extras also need to be comfortable with fake blood.

Avengers: Infinity War

There are no details for the casting call beyond these, according to CBR, but it would seem to be very clear that Avengers: Infinity War will spend at least some time at the home of Thor. It's not too surprising. Unless something drastic happens in the movies that will hit between now and _Avengers 3, o_ne of the Infinity Stones, the Tesseract, is currently housed in Odin's vault on Asgard. If Thanos wants it, and we know he does, he'll have to go there to get it. We would guess the movie will contain a scene with an assault on Asgard by Thanos and his minions, which will be successful and lead to Thanos claiming the Tesseract.

If this is the case, then we'll probably get a few similar scenes in other familiar locations as well. We could see an attack on the Nova Corps as well as one on the Sanctum Sanctorum. Both locations are home to Infinity Stones the last time we checked. The Collector was also in possession of the Aether, though that was prior to his collection exploding, so it's not clear if he still has it or not.

What we don't know about Avengers: Infinity War is just how much time will be dedicated to Thanos' collection of the stones. These could be very brief sequences, that inform us that Thanos has the stones, or each one could be a prolonged part of the film as different parts of the MCU fight Thanos in an attempt to protect the stones. Will we see all of these extras dressed as Asgardians fighting, or will we just see them all dead and covered in fake blood?

Filming is already underway for Avengers: Infinity War. We know that some of the major MCU stars, like Dave Bautista, are already at work, so maybe that Nova Corps attack is being filmed early, with Asgard to follow shortly thereafter.
