Someone Cut Together Infinity War's Trailers Into Chronological Order, And Wow

Despite releasing two very highly demanded trailers, Avengers: Infinity War has been keeping its cards close to its chest. While fans likely have some idea about how things play out, that's really only worth a vague synopsis at best. The true meat of the plot is a mystery, which has only led one fan to pour over all the available footage for the epic film and place it into what he believes is chronological order. Is he right? We'll know on April 27, but see for yourself if you think this is how Infinity War will play out.

I'm going to go ahead and throw up a quick SPOILER WARNING here. This uses most of the released footage -- including TV spots -- so if you want to go into the theater blind, bookmark this page and come back in a month!

The marketing for blockbuster movies has gotten a lot more secretive over the years, with the bigger films like Star Wars showing only the bare minimum of footage. Avengers: Infinity War is following suit and really hasn't revealed the bulk of its story. This has led YouTube editor/detective JohnnyB2K to take all the footage released so far and place it in chronological order -- or his opinion of it, at least.

It's an interesting idea of how Infinity War plays out, though, I'm not sure I agree with all of it. I doubt that Thor's storyline of meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy and then going on his mission happens entirely at the beginning of the movie and THEN cuts to the Earth people. The movie will likely jump back and forth between all these stories, but that's a hard thing to predict perfectly with just trailer footage. It should also be noted that this editor did the same thing with Captain America: Civil War trailers and that got some key parts wrong, as well.

That doesn't mean it's not a fun video! It's cool to see how many different ways there are to interpret the same footage. People are clearly excited to see this movie, judging by the 161 million views for the original trailer, and anything to help pass the time, like a Deadpool-ized trailer, is deeply appreciated.

We'll all see how close this video was when the real deal finally hits theaters in less than one month on April 27, 2018. To learn more about Avengers: Infinity War before seeing the blockbuster, here's everything we know so far. For all the other Marvel movies that are heading to theaters soon, here's our Marvel movie guide. Believe it or not, there are plenty of other, non-Marvel movies coming to theaters this year.
