New Han Solo Footage Talks Revenge, Money And Something More

All eyes are on Avengers: Infinity War at the moment, but the blockbuster season is just getting started and in a few weeks time, Solo: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters and attempt to win box office supremacy. The hype for this movie doesn't seem to be as high as other Star Wars entries, but that's not going to stop Lucasfilm and Disney from plugging the hell out of this prequel spin-off. New TV spots and footage are starting to emerge, which is exactly what we have here for you today. Check out the latest TV spot for Solo, which questions what drives our hero.

After a bit of a troubled production, Solo: A Star Wars Story is finally just less than a month from hitting theaters. The film will be the second entry in the Star Wars Story series that began with Rogue One a few years ago. Even though Disney has yet to announce what the next Story film will be, that just means we can put all of our attention on Solo, which will tell the origin story of Han Solo. Following in the footsteps of The Force Awakens, Solo has kept it light on spoilers, only releasing a small amount of footage to hold the fans over until the movie drops in May. However, TV spots usually have a little something extra and this one is no different.

What exactly is it that drives Han Solo? Money? Revenge? Or something else? That's what Kira (played by Emilia Clarke) is trying to figure out in this TV spot. The commercial doesn't show much that fans haven't already seen before but it does offer little extra snippets of footage. It looks like there are a few new shots of action and dialogue, but most importantly, it doesn't skimp on Donald Glover's Lando. That dude is slick as hell and he will probably run away with this movie.

Not a terribly large amount of information is known about Solo: A Star Wars Story. Directed by Ron Howard, the movie follows a young Han Solo (played by Alden Ehrenreich) and his journey to how he becomes the man we all first met in Star Wars: A New Hope. Along for the ride is Han's loyal co-pilot Chewbacca, as well as Lando Calrissian (Glover), and Han's true love, the Millenium Falcon. Rounding out the cast of new characters includes Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Paul Bettany.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is all set to arrive in theaters on May 25, 2018. To learn more about the prequel here's everything that you need to know. For everything else hitting theaters this year, be sure to visit our 2018 movie release schedule.
