As the theatrical release of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood winds down, the folks who’ve either seen the film or have been waiting for home video are looking forward to seeing just when Quentin Tarantino’s latest, and possibly most successful, film will be hitting store shelves, as well as what will be included in the total package.

Well, if you’re the type that loves collector’s edition style releases, you’ll be pleased to know that Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is going to have a special set that includes a record, a replica of one of the film’s many fake movie posters, and a mini version/special issue of MAD Magazine. Oh right, and it also includes the film you know and love on 4K UHD and Blu-ray.

In a folding case that unveils the old school art style poster for the film in one panoramic view, you get those special pieces of ephemera that neatly find themselves packaged into Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’s shelf-friendly box. Already a conundrum presents itself, as fans are going to have to ask themselves one important question: do you frame that Operazione Dyn-O-Mite poster that’s included, or do you leave it inside and neatly preserved and folded?

Looking at the details for the special features on Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, there’s some pretty exciting details as to what’s on the discs. More specifically, there’s five “Behind The Scenes” featurettes that delve into the making of the film, one of them including a look at cinematographer Robert Richardson’s work photographing the world of 1969 in modern Hollywood.

Now here comes the important news when it comes to this collector’s edition of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood: it looks like all of these features are only available with the 4K UHD/Blu-Ray combo pack. Also, if you’re a fan of DVD releases, the only special feature you’ll have on that release are the 20 minutes of the film’s infamous deleted scenes, which come with every other version of the film. So if you’re looking for something special, be sure to check the details real carefully on each version you see on the market.

There’s a lot of awesome stuff waiting for anyone who pre-orders Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and it looks like other retailers will have special add-ons of their own to sweeten the pot. Not to mention there’s going to be 10 minutes of additional footage folks will have never seen, even if they went and saw the recent re-release that included bonus footage.

You’ll be able to dig into Once Upon A Time In Hollywood when it is available on physical home video release, through 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD, on December 10th. Meanwhile, if you’re looking for the Digital HD version, that drops on November 25th, just in time to watch with your family on Thanksgiving!
